Sonic in Chaotix

Sonic in Chaotix is a ROM hack of Knuckles' Chaotix for the Sega 32X that replaces the original character roster with Sonic the Hedgehog while keeping the core tether-based mechanics intact. You control Sonic as he teams up with one of the Chaotix members using the signature rubber-band physics that link both characters during movement. Each level presents complex loop designs, vertical climbs, and timed springs that require precise momentum coordination between both partners. Sonic’s signature spin dash and high-speed movement work within the physics limitations of the Chaotix engine, creating a unique variation of traditional Sonic the Hedgehog platforming on 32-bit hardware.
