Metal Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles

Metal Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a ROM hack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles where you control Metal Sonic instead of Sonic, using a custom sprite set and modified movement style. You move through original zones such as Angel Island, Launch Base, and Death Egg while using spin dash, jump, and transformation abilities. Metal Sonic retains the same physics as Sonic but includes new animation frames and color palettes that reflect his robotic identity. Super transformation becomes available after collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds, with visual effects tailored to Metal Sonic’s appearance. Level structure, enemy behavior, and boss fights follow the original game format.
