Super Mario Kart - Horizons is a fan-made ROM hack of the original Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo, designed to give you brand-new tracks, updated graphics, and a different driving experience while keeping the core SNES mechanics intact. You race using classic characters like Mario, Bowser, and Donkey Kong Jr. across reimagined circuits with tighter turns, sharper obstacles, and updated track themes. The drifting, item pickups, and kart handling remain true to the 16-bit original, but every cup offers custom layouts that require sharp reflexes and strategic timing with shells, bananas, and mushrooms.
