Dark Super Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles

Dark Super Sonic in Sonic 3 & Knuckles is a ROM hack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles that replaces the standard Super Sonic transformation with Dark Super Sonic, a form inspired by the Sonic X anime. You collect all seven Chaos Emeralds and gather fifty rings to activate the transformation manually. In this state, Sonic changes appearance with a darker palette and enhanced aura effects. Speed, jump height, and invincibility improve during transformation, but ring depletion continues as usual. All original zones, including Angel Island, Ice Cap, and Death Egg remain intact, with the added visual and gameplay changes specific to Dark Super Sonic.
