Pokémon X & Y

Pokémon X & Y is the first mainline entry in the franchise to use fully 3D graphics, released on the Nintendo 3DS and set in the Kalos region—a region inspired by France. You start your journey in Vaniville Town and receive one of three starters: Chespin, Fennekin, or Froakie. The game introduces the Fairy type, Mega Evolution, and features Pokémon from Generations 1 through 6. You explore cities like Lumiose and challenge eight Gym Leaders before facing the Elite Four. The Pokédex is divided into three regional sections, and online battles via the Player Search System allow real-time interactions. With updated mechanics and a redesigned evolution system, Pokémon X & Y marks a major shift in visual and battle presentation in the series.
