You can switch between Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles while progressing through zones like Hill Top, Casino Night, and Metropolis. You can save progress, replay completed stages in Time Attack, and unlock Super Sonic or Super Knuckles after collecting all seven Chaos Emeralds. Hidden Palace Zone is now fully accessible, and you can explore it as part of the standard level rotation. Every enhancement respects the original mechanics while improving technical performance and visual clarity.
